Where does Hillen fit in on Preds blue-line?

Yesterday the Predators announced that they signed defenseman Jack Hillen to a one-year, two-way contract. Hillen, 25, played three-plus seasons with the New York Islanders prior to signing with the Preds. Last season he recorded 22 points in 64 games and blocked 137 shots; those numbers extrapolate to 28 points and 175 blocked shots over a span of 82 games. Not too shabby.So where does Hillen fit in on the blue-line?GM David Poile stated earlier this summer that two new defensemen, likely rookies, would make up the third pairing on defense. There will certainly be a battle in training camp for the 5th and 6th defense slots.
