I have already stated here at HockeyFanLand, that I believe because of the  Edmonton Oilers recent play they will make the playoffs this season.In his latest blog for the Edmonton Journal, David Staples writes how Craig Button, former Calgary Flames General Manager also thinks the Edmonton Oilers chances of making the playoffs are really good: “I think after that last road trip that started out so disastrously, Horcoff gets it settled, they won their last two games, I think they’re really good.”Bob MacKenzie disagree. “I think the jury is still out. I mean, what we’re seeing with a lot of teams, especially in the Western Conference, is you get a terrible five or six games, and the Oilers had that, and then you get a great five or six game stretch, and they’re having that right now, and if you keep doing that, you’re a .500 team and you’re not going to make it.
