Wings lose Filppula for 6-to-8 weeks with broken wrist

What a kick in the teeth for the Detroit Red Wings: Center Valtteri Filppula(notes) was hit by Gilbert Brule(notes) in the second period in Edmonton on Thursday night, fell awkwardly and ended up breaking his wrist.
