The CT Whale announced today that the team has signed forward Andrew Yogan and defenseman Peter Ceresnak to Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreements.Yogan, who had three points (2g, 1a) in two games with the Whale last season, had 41 goals (tied for sixth in the OHL) and 37 assists for 78 points in 66 games with the Peterborough Petes this season.Ceresnak, also of the Peterborough Petes, scored the second-most goals among the Petes' defensemen, with six, and also added nine assists for 15 points, while serving 34 minutes in penalties, in 61 games....with prospects such as Kreider, St. Croix, McIlrath and Miller grabbing all the headlines Yogan put together a real solid under the radar season. Two little tidbits hit the news waves this morning. First, as said here on Monday, Rangers prospects Andrew Yogan and Peter Ceresnak have officially joined the Connecticut Whale. Both are on ATO’s, which means that Ceresnak can return to the OHL next year. Yogan is playing for his Rangers career, and will need to earn an entry level contract.
