Andrew Peters retires after 6 seasons (AP)
Andrew Peters is retiring from the NHL after six seasons with the Buffalo Sabres and New Jersey Devils. The 31-year-old forward signed with Florida as a free agent last summer but was traded to Vancouver in October. He was unable to win a spot on the Canucks' roster and chose to retire after clearing NHL waivers this week.

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms with LW Andrew Peters on a one-year, two-way contract.

Sabres sign free agent Cody McCormick
The Buffalo Sabres put the nail in Andrew Peters coffin today, signing former Colorado tough guy Cody McCorkmick.
Last year with Colorado McCormick registered 12 points, while amassing 92 penalty minutes.

This has to be a big time suspension. If the NHL decided that sloppy seconds warranted 6 games, then this move by one of the biggest, guttless, classless hacks in the NHL has to be supsended 10 games. In my opinion, this is way more disgusting than saying something vile and disgusting, like sloppy seconds. Think about this, Jarko Ruutu bit Buffalo Sabres tough guy Andrew Peters....
