BRIAN LEE RUMORS & GOSSIP

John Jaeckel: UPDATE: Lee Rumor Might Have No Legs

Classic misinformation in the internet era. I received an email from a source in Canada this morning saying he had heard rumors of a deal sending Senators' defenseman Brian Lee to the Blackhawks. And, in fact, the possibility of such a deal was apparently discussed this morning in the Canadian media. There were no internet reports as such, but lo and behold, a 27 year...

John Jaeckel: RUMOR: Hawks Acquire Brian Lee from Ottawa

Rumor out of Canada this morning that the Blackhawks have acquired or are about to acquire Senators defenseman Brian Lee. I can find nothing concrete on it one way or the other at this point. At least two media outlets (ESPN Sportsnet) now has Lee listed as Hawks property.

Game Report: A Sleepy Game as Sens Fall 2 – 1 to Stars

Your Ottawa Senators lost to the Dallas Stars last night 2 – 1 in a game that could put babies to sleep. With only 19 shots on net, the Senators seemed like they just went through the motions until the game was over. Now having lost five of their last seven games, and with a quarter of the season in the books, the Senators find themselves outside the playoff picture and looking...

Another Swede Bites the Dust

Former Fighting Sioux defenseman Brian Lee is being sent back to the Ottawa Senators after being sent down to Binghamton at the end of February. It will be interesting to see if Brian Lee can spend the rest of the season with the Senators. The Ottawa Senators are in 12th place and will miss the NHL playoffs this season so I can imagine that Lee will be playing Binghamton Senators...

a href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_KjCLsoLU7c4/SHLNL2DUqUI/AAAAAAAABu8/D2rmEma5VJo/s1600-h/wheeler.jpg"> Fighting Sioux senior to be Joe Finley has consistently been the Sioux's +/- (plus minus) leader his three seasons at UND, however, much like his former team mate Brian Lee, Finley has gotten the ire of a good number of Sioux fans. Why? I don't know why? Heck...
