What on earth was Chris Simon thinking here? A source within the Islanders said "Brendan Witt got a penality tonight for playing Crosby to rough". "He was told that by the ref on the way to the box". I guess it pays to be Sidney sometimes.

Battle of New York has Chris Simon's complete apology. It obviously wasn't written by Simon himself, but it's an interesting take on how he percieves the events that took place the other night.
