Blues trade captain Eric Brewer to Tampa Bay
Reports indicated that St. Louis Blues captain Eric Brewer has waived his NTC in allow a trade sending him to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The return is a 3rd Round Pick in the 2011 draft and prospect defenseman Brock Beukeboom.

Blues' Brewer makes surprise return to lineup
St. Louis captain Eric Brewer made a surprise return to the Blues' lineup Thursday night against the Phoenix Coyotes.
The defenseman had not played since Dec. 11 after having back surgery twice to repair a sciatic nerve that at one point was thought to be career threatening. He also had minor knee surgery last month.

Blues' Brewer has surgery, unlikely for opener
St. Louis Blues defenseman Eric Brewer has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his right knee in what the team termed a minor setback for a player rehabbing from two back operations.
Brewer, the team captain, played only 28 games last season before undergoing surgery in December to repair a herniated disc in his back. He had a second back operation in April.
