Steve Palumbo: Ducks Lose To The Stars But All Is Not Lost
The Anaheim Ducks were kicked around by the Dallas Stars in their own building during Wednesday nights 6-2 loss at the Honda Center. The Ducks played perhaps one of their worst games in more than a month, but all is not lost.
Jonas Hiller allowed five goals in taking the loss. Hiller had not surrendered more than two goals in his previous nine starts.

(Debora Robinson, NHLI via Getty Images)
By Steve Palumbo (@StevePalumboNHL)
Now that the NHL All-Star break has come and gone, the Anaheim Ducks and Jonas Hiller will try to resume their improbable, if not impossible run towards a Stanley Cup Playoff birth.
The Ducks find themselves buried deep in the depths of the Western Conference basement; they trail the eighth seeded Minnesota...

New year means a new Jonas Hiller
The Ducks have seen this Jonas Hiller before, and, ironically, it is when the new calendar year begins.
Like he did last January when he took his game to a level that got him his first All-Star game appearance, Hiller is as hot as it gets after making 43 saves to match his season high in a 3-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday night.
Hiller has won five straight starts...

Hiller and Ducks Shut Out Edmonton, 5-0
Apparently the Ducks arrived in Canada sooner than their offense. While they were unable to generate any goals in a 1-0 overtime loss to Calgary, the offense finally caught up with the team in Edmonton. It was worth the wait. Facing an Oilers team that has been burdened with injuries to young, productive players, the Ducks happily trounced on them with a 5-0 shut out. The shut...

Hiller is not the Thriller in Maniller…
Jonas Hiller is having one of the worst seasons in the history of Ducks Goaltending… And I should know, I lived through the Mikail Shtalenkov/Ron Tugnutt/Guy Hebert Era’s back when I was a wii-lad (unsponsored product placement)… Well Hiller is making those guys look like Patrick Roy. I can’t explain it other than to speculate that the vertigo he was originally diagnosed...

WAY COOLER THAN 'JAWS 3'
Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller has 3-D mask
The Anaheim Ducks have had a couple of important changes as of late, but I’d stick my neck out on the line to say that this is the biggest (joking). Ducks goalie, Jonas Hiller now has a mask which is a one of its kind, 3-D demon shaker. The Ducks have had some bad luck on the ice as of late and some folks are hoping this will make a difference.

Anaheim Ducks G Jonas Hiller to Wear Moustache Helmet For “Movember”
Anaheim Ducks goaltender Jonas Hiller will sport a brand new helmet beginning next month.
The 29-year-old Swede will sport a white helmet featuring false pictures of his teammates sporting moustaches, in honor of “Movember.”
From Wikipedia: ”‘Movember’ is an annual month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November. The...

UPPER LIP SERVICE
Jonas Hiller wearing mask of mustaches
Every November hockey players sport unusual facial hair in support of Movember, a month of raising funds for men’s health issues.
For Movember, Hiller isn’t just going to grow some facial hair of his own, but plaster his mask with black and white images of teammates sporting their mustaches.
The Goalie Guild unveiled the images today:
The mask Jonas...
