The Blues have signed forward Jonathan Cheechoo to a one-year contract.
The 30-year-old Cheechoo has been in the American Hockey League the last two seasons. He had 18 goals and 29 assists in 55 games last season with the Worcester Sharks.

Cheechoo back to San Jose?
Jonathan Cheechoo’s contract was bought out today by the Ottawa Senators………….making him a free agent.
This opens the door for a possible reunion in San Jose, where Cheechoo started his career and had his 50 goal season while being paired with Joe Thornton. If the Sharks could sign Cheechoo for the minimum, why not give it a shot? He is worth the risk...
