Free agent defenseman Jordan Hendry will have an official tryout with the Minnesota Wild. The 27-year-old Saskatchewan native recorded one goal and four penalty minutes in 37 games with the Chicago Blackhawks. His season was cut short on Feb. 28 when he suffered a torn ACL. A member of the 2010 Stanley Cup-winning Blackhawks, Hendry made $600,000 last season in the Windy City.
