Josh Bailey Is Sent to the Port
Josh Bailey was sent to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on “loan” today. From what I have read, if he had played in one more game, the Islanders would have had to put Bailey through wavers to make the move, so doing it now saves them from that issue.

Isles stomp Avalance – Bailey a ‘player’ in the making

1) As per TSN.ca, Josh Bailey is going to start the season on the Islanders' roster. The Islanders have to make a decision on Bailey's future before he plays his tenth game; either he'll stay on the big club all year or he'll return to Windsor and captain the Spitfires, his OHL team.
