Devils and Kovalchuk Help Raise Money for Families of Lokomotiv Plane Crash
The New Jersey Devils will honor Karel Rachunek and Alexander Vasyunov prior to Saturday nights opening night game against the Philadelphia Flyers. The team has announced they will wear patches remembering the former Devils killed in the September 7th plane crash that took the lives of the entire Lokomotiv team.

Devils will Remember Former Players Killed in Plane Crash
The New Jersey Devils are planning to honor former defenseman Karel Rachunek, prospect Alexander Vasyunov and the other victims of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash, according to a tweet from New Jersey Devils beat writer Tom Gulitti.

Former New York Rangers D-Man Karel Rachunek Dies in Plane Crash in Russia
Former NHL defenseman Karel Rachunek, who played briefly with the New York Rangers, died today in a plane crash just outside of the Russian city of Yaroslavl.
