ANAHEIM, Calif. The Anaheim Ducks have activated defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky from injured reserve after a monthlong absence with a broken finger.
The Ducks also placed center Saku Koivu on injured reserve Wednesday night because of a lower-body injury.

Anaheim Ducks defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky believes he's set to return to the ice.

Visnovsky breaks finger; our four weeks
Anaheim Ducks defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky is expected to miss up to a month with a broken finger after being hit with a shot Friday night against Vancouver, a team spokesman said Saturday.
Visnovsky has one goal and four points for the Ducks this season. He led all NHL defensemen with 68 points in 2010-11.

Norris Finalists announced: Lubomir Visnovsky not among them
The National Hockey League announced the Norris trophy finalists today, and Ducks defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky was not among them.
The three defenseman that have been chosen as finalists for the award are Shea Weber (NSH), Zdeno Chara (BOS) and Nicklas Lidstrom (DET).
Just before the regular season ended I made a case for why Visnovsky should win Norris, so I must say I am surprised...
