The Anaheim Ducks today re-signed one of their promising young defensemen, inking Luca Sbisa to a four-year extension worth $8.7 million.
Sbisa, 21, was in the final season of his entry level contract paying him $875K per season at the NHL level, and would've become a restricted free agent on July 1st.
His new deal will be worth an average cap hit of $2.175 million per season...
