As we head into the NHL all-star break, the San Jose Sharks are stumbling towards the finish line. They have lost two of their last three, and they clearly are missing some of their key players. Martin Havlat, Ryanne Clowe, and Brent Burns are all out with injuries, with Clowe and Burns expected to be back after the break. Havlat will be out for 6-8 weeks, hopefully in time...

San Jose Sharks: The Best Way To Replace Martin Havlat Is To Not
Martin Havlat, the speed and offensive skill the San Jose Sharks traded for during the offseason, is out for good portion of the upcoming few months. As far as we know, he will be sidelined 6-8 weeks, but we can bet on the 2 month range looking like a probable timetable for his return.
That likely return will take us to just about the end of February 2012 and leave around a month...

Sharks forward Martin Havlat will miss up to eight weeks following surgery Thursday to repair a partial tear in a tendon in his left hamstring.

San Jose Sharks right wing Martin Havlat will be sidelined six to eight weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a partially torn tendon in his left hamstring.

Sharks RW Havlat to miss at least one game
San Jose Sharks right wing Martin Havlat will sit out at least one game with a lower body injury.
Havlat injured his left leg while attempting to jump over the boards in Saturday's game against Edmonton.

Former Wild and current San Jose Shark forward Martin Havlat has been known as being a soft player that get injured a lot, but this is just a freak accident. Havlat was traded to San Jose in the trade that brought Dany Heatley to the Wild. We hope that Havlat isn't hurt too bad.
