GARTH: Foligno Family Reunion
Nick Foligno played his 300th NHL career last week. Tonight, he'll be on the ice with his "little" brother Marcus, who will make his NHL debut for Buffalo in Ottawa. Marcus is 6'4 220, and is considerable bigger, and some would say badder, than his older bro.
After this morning's game day skate, Nick spoke about how special it is to have his little brother make his NHL...

McQuaid fined for slewfoot, no suspension for B’s blueliner
Adam McQuaid will not be suspended for his knee on knee hit on Senators’ forward Nick Foligno in Wednesday night’s 5-2 victory. Mmcquaid was given a five minute penalty and a game misconduct for the hit, but due to the fact that he has no history with the NHL regarding supplemental discipline, he will not be punished further.
The decision was made by the league office...

Adam McQuaid Not Suspended, But Fined $2,500 for Kneeing Ottawa's Nick Foligno
You could make the case that Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid was heading for a suspension after kneeing Senators forward Nick Foligno on Wednesday night in Ottawa. However, the NHL has acted, and the B's defenseman won't miss any time. While McQuaid won't have to sit out any games, he will have to write the league a check, as the NHL has announced that the Boston blueliner...

Adam McQuaid Receives Five-Minute Kneeing Major, Game Misconduct in Bruins' Win Over Senators
Adam McQuaid is a tough player, but he certainly isn't a dirty player. So to see the defenseman receive a game misconduct on Wednesday was a bit surprising. McQuaid collided with Ottawa's Nick Foligno, resulting in knee-to-knee conduct. The Bruins defenseman said after the game that he had no intent of injuring Foligno, although the winger was shaken up a bit after the play...

McQuaid Knees Foligno
I would expect the NHL to review Boston Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid's knee to knee check on Ottawa Senator's forward Nick Foligno. When I first saw the hit, I thought that Nick Foligno would be done for the night but Foligno returned to game after shaking it off on the bench. McQuaid was given a five minute major and a game misconduct.

Video: Foligno Scores One-Handed Beauty
Nick Foligno has inserted his name on the ballot for goal of the year. Foligno picked up a pass in the neutral zone and beat a Washington Capitals defense man along the boards and then dangled through the slot. After powering through the slot Foligno cut below the goal line and reached back with one hand to tuck the puck past Capitals goaltender, Tomas Vokoun. The Senators went...

Crosby owns Nick Foligno in post game presser
Nothing is worse than the Canadian media.
They almost got Crosby to snap a little bit after asking repeated questions about what Nick Foligno said
If you remember, Foligno said this about getting smacked by Crosby last night.
"I just kind of got a little frustrated he would do something like that, so I went back at him. It's not a big deal, but it is something...

Nick Foligno’s Leap of Faith
Too bad this moment may be his only one so far
News came out today officially. The Ottawa Senators woke from the dungeon of dreariness and re-signed forward Nick Foligno to a two-year contract worth $2.4 million. That means Furby will be making $1.2 million a season, which is fine by me. It’s something I expected and it’s something he deserves. Sure, he had a disappointing...

Daily Shots: Costello Arrested, Foligno Signed?, and Seriously…
Practing at Development Camp, no booze sighted
It’s been a busy today for the Ottawa Senators, and as I am hearing it’s only getting started. Finally, we have something to report than just sitting, drinking, and waiting for Bryan Murray to finally do something! You know, other than signing Derek Smith and what so…
First off, the biggest news of the day comes from the prospect...
