Crawford sharp in goal for Blackhawks
Dave Bolland and Patrick Sharp scored in the game's first two minutes, Corey Crawford made 21 saves, and the surging Chicago Blackhawks beat the Dallas Stars 4-1 on Friday night.

The Blackhawks’ need for a second line center is nothing new. It goes back a ways, even the year the Hawks won the Stanley Cup in 2009-2010.

Rumors: Patrick Sharp to return after All-Star break
Patrick Sharp is skating after being sidelined with a broken left wrist, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Patrick Sharp, shown in this file photo, may return with the Blackhawks next week for the Western Canada road trip.
It’s expected the veteran will benefit from the extended down time during the All-Star week.
