Kubina suspended for head hit on Hawks' Bolland

TORONTO -- The NHL has suspended Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Pavel Kubina for three games for elbowing the head of the Blackhawks' Dave Bolland.
Kubina also was fined $60,096.76, a total based on his average annual salary.
The elbowing incident occurred in Wednesday's game in Tampa. The Lightning won 4-3 in overtime.
