Just a quick update to yesterday's post—Randy Jones has indeed been placed on waivers by the Flyers, so says Tim Panaccio of CSNPhilly.com. There's talk that the Rangers might be interested in him, but they too are up against the cap. We'll update the story when we find out whether Jones clears or is claimed.

Flyers officially sign Tollefsen, goodbye Randy Jones?
As expected, the Flyers have signed defenseman Ole-Kristian Tollefsen. Jones Suspended Two Games
Personally I don't think the hit even warranted a suspension, I think Campbell had to issue some type of suspension to appease other parties involved (by "other parties", I mean Bruins management). Given that, I find it fair but not everyone does (by "not everyone" I mean the Flyers management).
