Richard Park has a fractured foot and is out for 4-6 weeks.
Aside from obviously missing Sid tremendously, the team will miss Park's veteran presence.
This does, however, secure Joe Vitale's spot in the lineup for at least 4-6 weeks, however.
Kinda...

So Long Parky and other Islander musings
Richard Park has signed with a team in Switzerland this season, and will not be an Islander for 2010-11. A typical player of not the highest level of talent, but the highest amount of desire. Park was a great influence on the younger players, and that, I believe...
