Samsonov update : sprained neck

Good news out of Atlanta. Sergei Samsonov is okay. After a scary injury and a very scary delay of ten minutes with him lying motionless on the ice, the prognosis is all good. The injury report is nothing more than a sprained neck. It’s good to see the precautions taken, though.

Samsonov, Walker to miss Rangers game

Canes forwards Sergei Samsonov and Scott Walker will miss Saturday's game against the New York Rangers, coach Paul Maurice said today. Both have upper-body injuries, he said.
