Coyotes ink RW Tikhonov to one-year, two-way deal

The Phoenix Coyotes re-signed right wing Viktor Tikhonov to a one-year, two-way contract on Wednesday. The 23-year-old Latvia native fared well with San Antonio of the American Hockey League last season, posting 10 goals, 23 assists and 26 penalty minutes. The 28th overall pick of the 2008 draft, Tikhonov represented Russia during the 2008 IIHF World Junior Championship.
