In his 134 games with the Bruins and played limited minutes, but in St Louis, Sobotka gets decent minutes every game including time on the PK. Sobotka injured in practice; will miss 2-4 weeks
Vladimir Sobotka, the scrappy 3rd line center for the Blues, is headed back to the injured list for the second time in the past few weeks. This time Sobotka is out with an ankle injury that he suffered in yesterday’s practice when Alex Steen ripped a slapper and hit Vlad right on the skate.
Unless you were there you didnt see the shot so this is all speculation but it sounds...

Blues place C Sobotka on IR with ankle injury
The St. Louis Blues placed center Vladimir Sobotka on injured reserve Tuesday due to an ankle injury.
Sobotka was hurt during Monday's practice when he took a shot off the left ankle.
Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said Sobotka will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Sobotka has two goals and eight assists in 27 games this season.
