Flames retract tweet disparaging Oilers' signing of Hemsky
The Calgary Flames referred to the rival Edmonton Oilers signing forward Ales Hemsky as a "joke" on its official Twitter page.
The Flames promptly removed the tweet, saying the message was not sanctioned by the club.
"Earlier today an inappropriate tweet was sent from our (at)NHLFlames account by a staff member,” according to the statement on the Flames’ website...
