Flames lose C Jones to broken ankle
Calgary Flames center Blair Jones is expected to be sidelined six weeks due to a broken ankle.
Jones was injured in Thursday's game against Phoenix when he was hit in the ankle by a shot.
The 25-year-old Jones has one goal and two assists in 13 games for the Flames after notching two goals and two assists for Tampa Bay this season.

Blair Jones scores to give Flames 1-0 OT win over Ducks

After 61 minutes of scoreless hockey, Blair Jones scored his first goal in a Flames uniform to give Calgary the 1-0 overtime win over the visiting Anaheim Ducks tonight. The win extends the Flames home win streak to 8 games.
Jones capitalized on a rebound and chipped a backhander over Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller to seal the win.

Ducks allow one goal in OT loss to Calgary
CALGARY, Alberta (AP) -- Blair Jones scored his first goal with Calgary at 1:51 of overtime and Miikka Kiprusoff made 23 saves and the Flames beat the Anaheim Ducks 1-0 Thursday.
The Flames have won three in a row overall and have won eight straight at home and are 10-0-1 in their past 11 at the Saddledome. Their last home regulation loss was Nov. 15 against Ottawa.

The Calgary Flames have acquired center Blair Jones from the Tampa Bay Lightning for defenseman Brendan Mikkelson.
Jones has appeared in 78 career NHL games, including 22 this season with Tampa Bay. The 25-year-old had two goals and two assists.
