“The mentality on the bench was very different after we gave up that goal than it’s been in the past,” Butler said. “We’ve been a little bit fragile, but I thought guys did a good job stepping up right after we gave up that goal.
“We didn’t panic, we didn’t go into a shell and I think that’s a positive step for us.”

Suffice to say Calgary defenseman Chris Butler won't add any moments from the Jan. 5, 2012 game to his personal highlight reel. The Flames defenseman, who entered the game against the Bruins with a plus-3, finished 9-0 beating with a minus-4. Check out Butler's rough day as the Ketel One Honorable Moment in the video above.
I'm not sure if I've ever seen a player finish with a minus-7 rating in one game in my life. I'm not sure if that's a testament to how bad Chris Butler and the Calgary Flames were tonight or how dominant the Boston Bruins have become. Fresh off a six-goal outing against the Devils last night, the Bruins outdid themselves tonight, this time with a nine spot.
