This is huge. Letang missed time earlier in the season after suffering a concussion on a similar hit from Montreal Canadiens forward...

Nystrom, Ryder having big impact for Stars
When Dallas Stars GM Joe Nieuwendyk brought in a number of new players before the start of this season, he did so with one simple goal-to make the 2011-12 Stars a team that would end the club's three-year playoff drought.

Nystrom was put on a line with veterans Vernon Fiddler and Radek Dvorak more than a month ago and the unlikely trio quickly found strangely familiar ground for the Dallas Stars.
"Honestly, it was pretty easy right off the bat,"...

Nystrom providing solid minutes on Stars' checking line
On Thursday night against Los Angeles, Eric Nystrom scored his first goal as a member of the Dallas Stars. For many players, that would have been a big deal, but not for the 28-year-old winger. That's because the Stars came out on the short end of the stick, losing to the Kings 5-3 for their first home loss on the young season.
The second-generation NHL player was asked about...
