It didn't just seem like it took two weeks for the Red Wings to actually sign Northern Michigan University goalie Jared Coreau after TSN's Bob McKenzie reported that the Wings signed a tentative agreement with the 6'5" netminder...It really did take sixteen days between McKenzie's Tweet and the Red Wings' official confirmation of said 3-year entry-level contract...
Red Wings sign Coreau, recall Lashoff
The Detroit Red Wings have signed Northern Michigan goalie Jared Coreau to a three-year entry level contract, and they also recalled defenseman Brian Lashoff from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.
The team announced the moves Wednesday. The 21-year-old Coreau started all 38 games for Northern Michigan this season and finished with a 2.70 goals against average...
