Last night, Fox 17's Steve Amorose reported that the Grand Rapids Griffins were about to re-sign captain Jeff Hoggan and Nathan Paetsch, yielding the returns of four of the 5 AHL veterans the Griffins signed this past season in Hoggan, Paetsch, and the re-signed Triston Grant and Brennan Evans (there's no news as to what Brett Skinner's plans are, but the Griffins'...

I jumped the gun in assuming that the Grand Rapids Griffins had brought back one of the AHL-only contracted vets who played for the Grififns during their Calder Cup run in in defenseman Nathan Paetsch a couple days ago--when the team re-signed Triston Grant and Brennan Evans instead...
