Avalanche beat Lightning in overtime
Matt Duchene scored late in overtime and Jean-Sebastien-Giguere stopped 29 shots to lead the Colorado Avalanche over the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 on Friday night.

Lightning travel to take on lowly Blue Jackets
The Columbus Blue Jackets have seen their goaltending improve with Curtis Sanford replacing Steve Mason.
Sanford is outplaying his younger teammate in much the same way Mathieu Garon did during his time in Columbus.

Lightning G Garon to start vs. Panthers
Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Mathieu Garon will draw the start for Saturday's game against the Southeast Division rival Florida Panthers.
Veteran netminder Dwayne Roloson struggled in his last outing against the New York Islanders, with Garon coming on in relief and stopping 16 shots.

Lightning sign G Mathieu Garon
The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed goalie Mathieu Garon and right wing Michel Ouellet.
The free-agent deals were announced on Friday.
