LIST: My Favorite NBA Players, Past and Current
This is my list of favorite NBA players. This is basically none statistical, it's just who I like to watch play and who I like to follow. Ranked from my favorite to last. Hope you like!

Michael Jordan
Default! I can't explain all the greatness he is, but he's set the bar in the past, and has had the most impact on me in all the years of watching basketball. People can discuss how he wouldn't survive in today's game even at his prime, but how do you know that? Maybe his prime would be comparatively better. These days you have better nutrition, better training methods, more strategies... if you got a young MJ in the same training regiment as all our current all stars, he'd shine. No doubt, MJ wins in this list.

Kevin Garnett
Classy, passion, determination... he cares about the game, his heart is there to win it. He is respected, and nobody ever hates him. His skills are solid, he has the dream shake down, and he would make me crap in my pants if I saw him walking towards me with that stare he has. He lifts the team up with his dedication. He CARES, and that's what makes him my second favorite of all time.

Tony Parker
I'm so jealous of this guy. He's one of the fastest players, he won championships, won mvp's, and has Longoria... 'nuff said. The best quality he has is, he never complains. I love his composure. He bounces off people hard, gets fouled, he doesn't question any decisions made, he just comes back and does it again, better. He learns what's happening, either with how the refs make calls, or how he's playing that day. Because of his ability to be so flexible, motivation, and his composure, he's made the third ranking here.

Allen Iverson
At this point my list isn't as exciting, but I like watching when AI is on fire. He has ridiculous athletic ability! It was amazing when he hit 40+ points against wizards when MJ was on his last game. Definitely showed that it was his time to shine. Too bad he's not making as big of a difference... and team hopping these days annoys the hell out of me. Yeah it's part of the game, but shit, it's hard to be a fan of a team, if the team is just a name without a consistent player base.

LeBron James
Talent, class, athletic ability... this guy is awesome. I wish he'd just try to take over a lot more often. I guess he's trying to keep away from being too Kobe, but he has as much ability if he worked on his clutch and consistency. He's unstoppable when he finds a lane.

Shaq
Dude, don't hate. Shaq is fun to watch. He's not the best player, but his presence is made. He's so hard to guard, and sure he's not as fast as AI, but he is fast enough of a big guy. I love how entertaining he is, it just makes the game just a bit more fun.

Tracy McGrady
He makes the game look easy. He has this... "I'm high and not at a 100%, but can still woop on you" kind of look. He's a good player, but not consistent enough, which sucks... but when he's on, he's impossible to stop. That quick release is sweet. I hope him and Yao can take the team up another notch.

Gary Payton
He's from OAK-TOWN! That's all =) I need to put Jason Kidd in here too.

Vince Carter
Ok, I'm sure everyone remembers the dunk contest... he's incredible. Talk about hops and athletic ability. I wish he didn't get so messed up and hurt... and I wish he'd care more, but he's fun to watch sometimes.

Kobe Bryant
He's just so amazing to watch. Sure there's so much conflict around him, but you can't deny the games he plays are always fun. You're down 40 points at the half Lakers? It's not over, Kobe's there. That's what I love to watch. He's here just because of his entertaining factor, but as a player, he doesn't rank nearly as high as the others here. BTW we're not talking stats, just who I like to watch.
