Warriner Wins Sixth Triathlon World Cup Race in Tongyeong

Beijing-bound Samantha Warriner of New Zealand showed her Olympic caliber today winning the 2008 Tongyeong BG Triathlon World Cup. Warriner exited with the lead swim pack, stayed in position on the bike and used her killer run leg to securing the gold medal. Great Britain's, Hollie Avil, the 2007 Junior champion trailed Warriner by nine seconds at the finish. Vendula Frintova of the Czech Republic rounded out the top three.
