I can't believe you people actually classify this crap as "sport."

Really, have you ever raced motocross/snow cross on a bike, quad, or sled? Because ive played footbal,and basketball since i can remeber and it doesnt hold a candle to the training required in this sport. Also what he did there is something olympic gymnist would have a hard time pulling off.

So all x-game snow mobilers can compete with olympic gymnists in gymnatics? Please clarify.

I would venture to say yes. Because never have doing free style stuff of my own i have raced quad cross and it takes insane strength and endurance that of a marathon runner to be competitive. Then to throw in doing flips and such will controlling a 400+ machine that is being propelled by an 800-1000cc two stoke motor that puts out between 70-120hp.

Doing those tricks on a trampoline probably pretty easy however throw in the other elements and the fear factor its in a whole nother level than gymnist.

Also wait till best trick goes down in the books and tell me its not being athletic.

You do realize that gymnastics is more than just trampoline, right? How about the parallel bars, steel rings, floor routines, etc. It's not just a simple back flip, it's a back layout, etc. Nice try, but no. Each athlete is respected in his/her sport, but to claim an olympic gymnist doesn't hold a candle to a freestyle snow cross sledder I'm not buying.

Corvettedude you're an idiot and that's coming from a girl. Knowing most of these guys personally and seeing what they put their bodies through is unbelievable!! Even though this SPORT has been around for over 10 years (props to Kourtney and Whitney Hungerford for how far this SPORT has come), I know it's new to people that aren't around it or justing seeing it for the first time when they maybe watch the x-games but it is a new and growing sport. You go out and throw a 450 lbs sled around, do a back flip and land without crashing and tell me how that works for you!!

Is that "crap" a sport?????? I am a personal trainer, and I can tell you that the young athletes today are so unbelievably fit and focused, which explains everyone getting bigger, faster and stronger. The level of fitness has brought "sports" to a whole new level, be it racing, golf, tennis, soccer, football, track and field, it is never ending. What that kid is doing up in the air is an incredible feat of strength, fitness and if I do say, balls. So corvettedude, I invite you to the gym to show you some crap, we call sports!

Regarding the Boo! to the Tebowing. Bad form. If he wants to give thanks for his safety after an accident, he should be able to do it any way he wants to without some lame sports journalists tacky comments dogging him. Shame on you.

When I learned how to pray we got down on both knees to say thanks. When you are both knees you can't just do a quick "thanks God"! Prayers are to ask for guidence on somthing important like making you a better, kinder person. It is not some show off posture! Tebowing stinks! Praying to God is Great.
