The Boston Bruins today acquired veteran goaltender Alex Auld from the Phoenix Coyotes today for a minor leaguer and a fifth-round pick in the 2009 NHL draft.

Senators add depth with G Auld

The Ottawa Senators signed goaltender Alexander Auld to a one-year deal Friday.Auld, who spent last season with the Montreal Canadiens, will earn $1 million for the contract.The backup netminder appeared in 16 games (12 starts) last season, logging a 6-2-2 record and 2.64 goals-against average.
