2011-2012: Making the grade

Absolutely.

"The fact that he got out there today and got a whole boatload of plays and looks at stuff in the red zone and all that that he didn't get last week, it should help him," Carroll said.

Seahawks inactives: Bigby, Hargrove out
Both were questionable heading into today’s contest, so it’s no surprise that safety Atari Bigby and defensive lineman Anthony Hargrove are inactive with hamstring issues. So rookie safety Jeron Johnson is active for the first time since the Cleveland game, and has been on the inactive list for the last three games. Also, Paul Faniaka is active instead of Jarriel King...

Cleveland Browns Film Room: Week 6 Field Goal Protection
Each week this season, we’ll take a seat in our very own WFNY Browns film room and break down a little tape from the previous week. Do enjoy.
I spent some time going over all 4 of the Browns’ field goal attempts from last Sunday. You probably don’t need reminded that 2 of these kicks were successful, and 2 were blocked. Both of the unsuccessful kicks were blocked...

Morning links: Hargrove’s journey
Good morning. I had a restful week off, but it’s good to be back. Thanks to Dave Boling for filling in for me. Speaking of Dave, he pens an engaging profile of Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove, chronicling the twists and turns in his seven-year NFL career. That journey includes a long battle with drug and alcohol addition and the recent, tragic death of his...

Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said that he was a little optimistic in his initially assessment of linebacker Matt McCoy, and that in fact he will needed to have arthiscopic knee surgery in a week to repair damage in his knee, and will be placed on the season-ending injured reserve list.
