I understand that he's hit better against left-handed pitching this year than right-handed pitching, but his career platoon splits (which have more predictive value than the 400 or so PAs) are in line with what we'd pretty much expect. Aubrey Huff and the Dead Cat Bounce
Aubrey Huff will continue to bat in the middle of the batting order, says his manager. It’s no surprise, either, given the organization’s predilection for veterans. Brandon Belt Back Because of Aubrey Huff’s Back
Aubrey Huff is suffering a tight lower back, so the San Francisco Giants have decided to recall Brandon Belt from Triple-A.
Huff is not seriously hurt but he does need a few days off as his back reportedly gives him trouble when he bends at the waist.
Giants manager Bruce Bochy says Huff will still be the starter at first base as soon as he is healthy again.

Huff Worst Giants 1B Ever
OK, this isn't breaking news or anything, but Aubrey Huff wasn't very good in 2011 for the Giants.
This comes, of course, on the heels of Giants GM Brian Sabean rewarding Huff with a two-year, $22 million deal.
