4.26.10 Buffalo will be back in August.

And thank Maude for that! PawSox win, 5-1.I am astonished at how dumb I can be sometime. I predicted Kris Johnson's start to be poor. But it turns out he pitched really well. Johnson pitched five innings with three strikeouts and just the one unearned run. That run was the result of Kevin frandsen's throwing error in the second, which allowed Cervenak to boogie over to second...

JV athlete, JV personality.

I can't believe Van Every is back. Too bad Brandon Moss doesn't play center. I used to dislike Jonny Sunshine, but I got over it. However, if Lincoln Holdzkom comes back, it's all over. I'LL DROP BRICKS!!And please read this very good Peter Douglas analysis re: the reacquisition. Prediction: PTBNL will be a Latin infielder in the low minors. Today's game is at...

4/18 Minor League Report

I apologize for the downtime on MPH last night, and the lack of the MLR on MetsMerized and NYFS, I was out helping a friend move, I thought I’d be done by 5pm, but I ended up getting home at 10 of 2 in the morning. At that point, I could barely keep my eyes open, let alone write up an article. As for the Gameday Links on MPH – I left home at 10am after waking up at 9...

Who was that Livingston guy...

Aside from Ike Davis, Bobby Livingston was the biggest surprise of the first spring training game. Livingston relieved an injured Elmer Dessens who was struggling at the time of his injury and left his replacement in a tight situation. After pitching 2 2/3 scoreless innings of ball, as a left hander there are many of us going who is this Livingston guy and do we need Beimel or Mahay...

Add Blackley to the left handed pool...

The Mets really need a second lefty out of the bullpen, last year they tried to go with just Feliciano and even before the injuries, the cross over righties weren't getting the job done against good left handed hitters. As much as they've used Feliciano, they're really asking for an injury which would be devastating for this pen.Once again the Mets have chose not to bring...
