Padres get RHP Kloess from Chisox for OF Tekotte

The San Diego Padres have obtained right-hander Brandon Kloess from the Chicago White Sox for outfielder Blake Tekotte. The 27-year-old Kloess was a combined 6-3 with a 2.69 ERA for Double-A Birmingham and Triple-A Charlotte this year. He struck out 70 in 73 2-3 innings.
