Brenden Morrow… Could They? Would They?
Whenever there’s less than a month to go before the NHL trade deadline (February 27 this year), there are bound to be lots of wild rumours bouncing off the walls. One such wild rumour had Corey Perry on his way to the Vancouver Canucks for Corey Schneider, Keith Ballard and Mason Raymond. This is of course a ridiculous trade, one that doesn’t meet the Ducks needs at all...

Stars' captain Morrow deemed probable for Boston game
In the second period of Thursday's 4-1 loss to Columbus, Dallas Stars captain Brenden Morrow took a puck to his right knee. To his credit, he did try to go in the third period but his opening shift lasted just 21 seconds before he realized he was done for the night.
And after the game, Morrow was seen walking around with a noticeable limp. He did not practice today and did have...

Bill Meltzer: Star Gazing: 2/6/12
One of the more unsettling aspects about the Stars' season this year has been the dropoff both in the health and performance of team captain Brenden Morrow. Last year, the club never really felt the loss of James Neal -- regardless of Neal's struggles in Pittsburgh after the deal -- in large part because Morrow was there to step up and produce the second 30-goal season of...

Travis Yost: Buy or Sell: Brenden Morrow to Ottawa?
When TSN's Bob McKenzie opined that Brenden Morrow may become available to suitors at the trade deadline, I couldn't help but speculate on whether or not there'd be a potential fit in Ottawa.
If you're wondering how long said speculation took - well, about two seconds.
There's a number of peripheral issues to work out regarding any deal that Ottawa - or...

Stars' Morrow takes puck to left knee
In a game where the Dallas Stars just got starting goaltender Kari Lehtonen back after missing 12 games due to a groin injury and a contest where the club's two most veteran defensemen Stephane Robidas and Sheldon Souray, continue to be sidelined, could Glen Gulutzan's club now be adding captain Brenden Morrow to the list of injured players?
Quite possibly. The Dallas captain...

STARS NEED TO CHOOSE A DIRECTION
So here we are again – the trade deadline is looming and the Stars are right in the mix for the last playoff spot in the West, just on the outs. The difference this year is that the veteran players are exactly one year older and unless a miracle happens in the next few months, the window of opportunity for those veterans to win with the Stars, as well as for the Stars to win...

Talking Morrow & Suter
from Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal, • Why should anybody be surprised that Dallas Stars captain Brenden Morrow might be on the market? There are lots of miles on that chassis from all the punishment he’s taken and dished out, and he just turned 33. He’s still an effective player, but this is the classic case of the Stars checking the level of teams’...

Brenden Morrow Fantasy Hockey Impact
I originally thought that Brenden Morrow would play the 2nd line. I guess that is not the case because Brenden Morrow is now on the Dallas Stars first line at left wing. Morrow is a power forward who can generate 50+ points a season.
Morrow should generate more scoring opportunities with most of the attention being focused on Loui Eriksson and Mike Ribeiro. It would not be...
