Brevin Knight was only with the Charlotte Bobcats for a short time but he made his mark
Point guard Brevin Knight was with the Bobcats in the early days of the franchise and he was one of the few reasons to come out and watch the team. He played in 180 games (153 starts) in his first three years with the Bobcats and he averaged 30.9 minutes, 10.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game. Despite only playing three years for the Bobcats, Knight...

Brevin Knight
The injuries keep coming, even to the guys we thought were healthy. I just got this press release from the Clippers title "Brevin Knight Injury Update": Los Angeles Clippers' point guard Brevin Knight underwent an MRI prior to practice this morning which revealed a left fibula stress reaction. &nbs...

Return of a Jedi: Brevin Knight is back!
In case you missed it, Brevin Knight turned in a stunning 1 point, 7 assist performance last night in his first game back from surgery of the abdomin. Not too excited about the 4 turnovers, but the 3 rebounds is decent. And that made for 25 fantasy points in my HoopsAddict.com league, which is better than than the 10 points that Keith Bogans put up last night (that's right, I've...

A PG is there to serve others, keep them involved and organized
According this article, for Coach Larry Brown, a point guard is there to serve others; to keep them involved and organized. If you happen to score some points along the way, that's more a bonus than an objective. Before Brown's arrival, Raymond Felton had been a part-time point guard, sharing the position first with Brevin Knight and then with Jeff McInnis.“To be honest with you...

Day 21 of 170:Brevin Knight Wants Your Brains
Line of the Night: In the GMTR Fantasy Guide for 2008, I believe I compared Tim Duncan (1.13) to a Toyota Camry. Well, that old reliable machine can still hit a buck-twenty when it needs to. Duncan finished last night’s game with 20 and 15, adding 6 blocks and going 2-2 from the line(!) as [...]

Buyout bonanza: Sam Cassell to Boston
After being bought out by the Clippers on Thursday, Sam Cassell cleared waivers on Monday night, paving the way for him to sign with the Boston Celtics. We take a look at the impact on the Clippers and Celtics rosters ,and project Cassell's fantasy value in Boston.

Jazz 97, Blazers 88 Re-Thoughts
I should have seen this one coming.Personally speaking, this loss was more painful than the Orlando and Boston losses. We might as well be truthful with each other. I can't stand Utah and I can't stand watching them play at home. I always have and I always will. Dating back to Stockton and ...

Simply the BEST
I have long been following the rapid increase of Blue Equity's share of the Sports & Entertainment pie. I have had the unique opportunity of meeting Donald Dell and speaking to chairman Jonathan Blue and COO Mike Principe in the past. That being said, I am very happy for the entire company on the unveiling of a new entity that will bring together all of Blue Equity's sports properties...

Day ‘N’ Knight
by Tzvi Twersky | @TTwersky
The University of Pittsburgh’s basketball team began their season last week ranked No. 5 in the Associated Press’ Top 25 Poll. The Division I Coaches’ Top 25 Poll had them checking in at No. 4. Neither spot is a surprise. Since 2001, the Pitt Panthers have spent more time in the Top 25 than out of it. A plethora of players and coaches deserve credit...

Ross and Knight are heaving up bricks for the Los Angeles Clippers
Quinton Ross and Brevin Knight have been heaving bricks towards the rim at alarming rates. Ross is only shooting 34.8% from the floor this season and Knight is only hitting 34.5% and that just won’t get it done. They will start losing minutes if they don’t start playing better soon. Ro...

Observations: Brevin Knight back in Charlotte?
Looks like ex-Bobcat Brevin Knight will be doing some broadcast work for the team - I'm hearing color analyst for radio at home.Knight maintained a home here after his contract expired with the Bobcats. He wasn't in any team's training camp and took some broadcasting classes during the summer at Syracuse. And Knight has always been an articulate, extraverted guy.

Worst Starting Point Guards in the NBA
Jason Williams/Chris Quinn? these two guards have almost equal times they have started and all they bring are bunch of loses and inconsistencies.
Anthony Carter ? Anthony is a great backup guard for any team but as a starting guard? I don't know. Maybe he is in Denver team
Dan Dickau/Brevin Knight ? They are guards who do not seem to strike fear on their opponents...

Brevin Knight's Good Hands
TrueHoop reader Ray says that over the last ten games Brevin Knight has 43 assists and one measly turnover. It's true, as it happens. Over 10 games, that's an assist/turnover ratio of 43. That is a mighty, if obscure, accomplishment. On the season, the best in the league is Jose Calderon, who is a li...

Fantasy Team Preview: Los Angeles Clippers
How does a team ruin its season before it starts? One of the best ways is to have your all-star rupture his Achilles during the off season. That'll do. We've broken down the Brand injury and what he can expect this season, but what about the rest of the team?

Cross another PG off the list
Not that there was a ton of discussion about Anthony Carter around here, but his name has come up here and there. Now his name is coming up again... because he's going back to Denver. So we're back to bringing up names like Tyronn Lue or Jacque Vaughn or Brevin Knight. I don't know... none of those names thrill me. But I guess we're not looking for thrills...

The Los Angeles Heat
It's official, the Los Angeles Clippers are heads and shoulders above every other NBA team this offseason in terms of activity. Last night, I read a headline that Jason Williams (aka White Chocolate) will be joining fellow former Miami guard Ricky Davis with the Clips. What do these moves mean for the Clippers? Quite a bit, in my opinion. Williams, much maligned for his flashiness...
