Brevin Knight was only with the Charlotte Bobcats for a short time but he made his mark
Point guard Brevin Knight was with the Bobcats in the early days of the franchise and he was one of the few reasons to come out and watch the team. He played in 180 games (153 starts) in his first three years with the Bobcats and he averaged 30.9 minutes, 10.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game. Despite only playing three years for the Bobcats, Knight&...

Day ‘N’ Knight
by Tzvi Twersky | @TTwersky
The University of Pittsburgh’s basketball team began their season last week ranked No. 5 in the Associated Press’ Top 25 Poll. The Division I Coaches’ Top 25 Poll had them checking in at No. 4. Neither spot is a surprise. Since 2001, the Pitt Panthers have spent more time in the Top 25 than out of it. A plethora of players and coaches deserve credit...

Former Jazz guard broadcasting for Bobcats
Charlotte, N.C. » For the semiretired NBA veteran making the transition to a broadcasting career, Brevin Knight has coined a term. Not yet a full-fledged member of the media, but no longer a player, Knight is by his own description a "media-er.

Observations: Brevin Knight back in Charlotte?
Looks like ex-Bobcat Brevin Knight will be doing some broadcast work for the team - I'm hearing color analyst for radio at home.Knight maintained a home here after his contract expired with the Bobcats. He wasn't in any team's training camp and took some broadcasting classes during the summer at Syracuse. And Knight has always been an articulate, extraverted guy.

1997 NBA Draft Remix
by Jeff Fox
At first glance you’d think that the 1997 NBA Draft was a fantastic one — just look at the names — Duncan, Billups, McGrady. While the first glance might be nice, every glance after that is horrendous. Just look at the names “gracing” the bottom of the list (Fortson, Brevin Knight) and you will understand what a painful process remixing the...

Cross another PG off the list
Not that there was a ton of discussion about Anthony Carter around here, but his name has come up here and there. Now his name is coming up again... because he's going back to Denver. So we're back to bringing up names like Tyronn Lue or Jacque Vaughn or Brevin Knight. I don't know... none of those names thrill me. But I guess we're not looking for thrills...

Ross and Knight are heaving up bricks for the Los Angeles Clippers
Quinton Ross and Brevin Knight have been heaving bricks towards the rim at alarming rates. Ross is only shooting 34.8% from the floor this season and Knight is only hitting 34.5% and that just won’t get it done. They will start losing minutes if they don’t start playing better soon. Ro...

Brevin Knight's Good Hands
TrueHoop reader Ray says that over the last ten games Brevin Knight has 43 assists and one measly turnover. It's true, as it happens. Over 10 games, that's an assist/turnover ratio of 43. That is a mighty, if obscure, accomplishment. On the season, the best in the league is Jose Calderon, who is a li...
