Following the completion of the recap package our new Director of Wrestling Operations, Kurt Angle, comes out to the ring to announce that tonight is “Kurt Angle’s Red, White, & Blue Throwdown” in honor of Independence Day.
14 years ago on an episode of WWE Raw, the Dudley Boyz — Bubba Ray specifically — powerbombed the late, great Mae Young off the stage and through a bunch of table.
Sorry the video isn’t better. For some strange reason WWE doesn’t make readily available HD video of an octogenarian being hurled to her death. Anyway, the point here is that TMZ occasionally does...

It may not be a prestigious world title win … but TNA wrestler Bully Ray says he’s been honored with something not many people in wrestling can lay claim too — a Mae Young fart.
Bully — aka Bubba Ray Dudley during his WWE run — was out in Rockefeller Plaza Wednesday when we asked if he’d ever been hit with a stinker while wrestling an opponent.
This week on TNA Impact Wrestling, EC3 faces Kurt Angle, and the Beautiful People take on Brittany & Madison Rayne in a tag team Evening Gown Match. The Bromans also get a shot at the tag titles in a tag team Ladder Match.
TNA Impact Wrestling opens with Bully Ray outside spray painting a table.
I've seen better PPVs than TNA's offering of Sacrifice on Sunday night, but I've also seen many worse. Other than the Russo-fied finish to Bully Ray and Bobby Roode's table match, it was an enjoyable waste of a few hours, high praise in the TNA spectrum post-2006.
This week's show opens with MVP heading down to the ring. He says he knows Abyss can hear him, and what he needs to know is that MVP's intention here is to make a level playing field, and wrestlers will rise/fall based on talent alone. A great man once said that the cream always rises to the top.
TNA Impact Wrestling starts off with EC3, Rockstar Spud, the Bromans and Zema Ion walking around in the back. EC3 is complaining that "aunt D" has lost everything, then says there's one man to blame for all of this, that being Bobby Roode.
This week’s Impact Wrestling opened with Dixie Carter heading to the ring, flanked by EC3, Rockstar Spud and Magnus. She says that she didn’t lose one moment of sleep over MVP’s idle threats against her.
This week's Impact Wrestling show opens up with agents separating Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe from EC3, Rockstar Spud and Magnus.
After a video hyping the big two matches this week, we see Dixie Carter, Rockstar Spud and a man in a suit somewhere backstage in the arena. Spud is telling Dixie to calm down, because she’s flipping out about something.
This week’s episode is another “free PPV”, that being Genesis. I have already heard atrocious things about this show, so I am mentally preparing myself for the worst.
This week’s Impact opens up with Dixie Carter, wearing a turtle neck from hell. Looks like the Linda McMahon Collection. She says she’s not going to waste one more ounce of her precious breath talking about AJ Styles.
This week’s Impact opens up with a video package for the new World Champion, Magnus. Later tonight, we will have his official coronation ceremony.
This week’s TNA Impact Wrestling will feature the horrible, awful, horrendous return of Feast or Fired.
This week’s Impact is a special “Thanksgiving Throw-Away” episode, where nothing of any importance will happen. Wait…how is this different than most other recent episodes of Impact?
This week’s TNA Impact Wrestling is a special “free PPV” presentation of Turning Point. It opens up with footage of Bobby Roode attacking James Storm at a bar in Orlando Wednesday night.
This week’s TNA Impact Wrestling opens up with us seeing Austin Aries and Kurt Angle, who will face each other in the opening round of the World title tournament later tonight.
The Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff era in TNA Wrestling started off without a lot of hype, carefully worded expectations, and a ton of doubt. Three years later the era has officially ended and I think it would be fair to call it a bust.
This week’s TNA Impact opens up with Dixie Ray arm-in-arm with Pacman Jones telling him how happy she is to have him “back home”. Mr. Anderson approaches them, and he says all he wants is Bully Ray to agree to a match with him and he swears that’s all.
Dixie Carter is at it again. The woman who teases more than an 80’s hair metal band posted a video claiming that yet another mystery man will be coming to TNA Impact. I just hope he doesn’t mind waiting six weeks for his check.
This week’s Impact is a special “Halloween” edition. What does that mean? Exactly squat, since shows that air on holidays are always throw-away.
TNA Wrestling is a sinking ship and all you have to do is follow the ratings and look at their house shows to see it. There are a lot of people to blame but the good news is that clock may be ticking on some of them according to recent reports.
This week on TNA Impact Wrestling we get a World title rematch from BFG between AJ Styles and Bully Ray.
TNA did the right thing by putting the World Title back on AJ Styles. Not like we did not see this coming with a year’s build up of him playing the disgruntled “lone wolf,” trying to recreate the Sting character from WCW in a failed program.
