Today's Carlos Quentin injury update is much better for White Sox fans that last September. Quentin suffered a bruised hand after being hit by a pitch in Baltimore last night. He says he is fine, though he will be re-evaluated Friday.

Prior to tonights game vs. the Tampa Bay Rays, the Chicago White Sox returned outfielder Carlos Quentin from his rehabilitation assignment at Class AAA Charlotte and reinstated him from the 15-day disabled list. The White Sox also optioned outfielder Brian Anderson to Charlotte.
