The Conor Jackson Experiment is Over
Look, A’s Organization, we all know what Conor Jackson is and he is not the type of player that is going to help the Oakland A’s win ball games. He had a nice hot streak and we all crossed our fingers but the guy is clearly coming back to earth. So please stop playing him.
In his last 30 at bats, Jackson, has a total of 5 hits. I understand that he may be a better choice...

A’s Trade Conor Jackson – My Heart Weeps… Wait, Who’s Conor Jackson?
When I heard the news that the Oakland Athletics traded outfielder Conor Jackson to the Boston Redsox for minor league reliever, Jason Rice, I almost cared. But in the end, the news was almost as irrelevant as when the A’s acquired Jackson in the first place from Arizona for Sam Demel.
When he wasn’t injured, he was anything but an impact bat. He was barely a stopgap and given...

Conor Jackson Sore From Crashing Into Right-Field Wall, But 'Checked Out Fine' After Game
New acquisition Conor Jackson was so determined to make a good impression on the Fenway Faithful on Sunday that he put his body on the line while trying to track down a flyball in the right-center field gap. Unfortunately for Jackson and the Sox, though, the newcomer was shaken up after crashing into the wall, which forced him to come out of the game in the third inning. Manager...

Jackson had a .658 OPS for Oakland this season, while spending most of his time as a right-handed-hitting reserve option at first base and the corner outfield spots. One source said Jackson will have a "super utility" role in Boston...

Conor Jackson Traded to the Red Sox
Yesterday evening the Oakland A’s finally cut ties with Conor Jackson. The A’s traded him to the Boston Red Sox for pitching prospect Jason Rice and cash. Let’s be honest does it matter what the A’s got for him? Jackson is gone and that is all that matters. I know the A’s had high hopes when they got him from the Diamondbacks but unfortunately it did not work out.
I would...

Brandon Allen Looks Good For A’s
Brandon Allen may not be the answer for the Oakland A’s empty spot at first but he is sure a much better solution than Conor Jackson. Jackson’s game is not going to get any better than it is, Allen on the other hand can only get better.
I enjoyed watching Brandon Allen play yesterday against the Rangers and this is coming from a guy, who was not happy with the Brad Ziegler trade...

Jacoby Ellsbury, Conor Jackson Team Up to Make Red Sox History
BOSTON -- There were plenty of superlatives Monday night for the Red Sox. Their 18 runs tied a team season high, as did their 20 hits (as well as their three errors, but we won’t focus on that). They also did something in the seventh inning that has never been done in the long, slugging history of this franchise. Jacoby Ellsbury led off the seventh with an inside-the-park home...
