Bills waive WR Cordell Roberson, CB Darius Robinson

The Bills waived wide receiver Cordell Roberson and cornerback Darius Robinson on Friday, the club said. Buffalo did not immediately sign anyone to fill the vacated roster spots, leaving the club with 88 players, two short of the 90-player limit. Roberson (6-4, 205) spent time on Buffalo and Carolina’s practice squads last season.

Browns release preseason hero Cordell Roberson

Today the Cleveland Browns released WR standout Cordell Roberson. Roberson tore it up in the preseason as both a wide out and on special teams. Vernon Kearney was also released. The Lane Cornerback who has good size was released minutes later. Expect both to get calls soon.
