Blue Jackets Hire Dan Hinote as an Assistant Coach
Dan Hinote has been hired on as one of the assistant coaches for the Blue Jackets. I think it is a great addition as Hinote was a hardworking player and I expect no different from him as coach. He is not far removed from the game as he just finished his playing career last season in Sweden.

The NHL is not doing enough to crack down on diving. The majority of diving calls are actually reversed by the league office. Great vote of confidence to see the NHL de-legitimizing its own officials, and allowing scoring to be even more inflated.
It's sad to see the NHL devolving. A bunch of guys who couldn't even keep the league afloat for a year are changing the rules...
