Chris Johnson “can’t” play for $550,000
“I can’t play for 550,000″ Johnson told the Tennessean. This is another example of Johnson showing that he is very serious about holding out long into training camp. At 550,000, Johnson was the 14th highest paid running back in the league in terms of total salary according to the USAToday.
This leaves him behind Darren McFadden, Jamal Lewis, and Steven Jackson...

Mendenhall says a Fullback would be a welcome sight

Add another former Cleveland Browns player to the Arizona Cardinals roster.
The Cards added FB Charles Ali today. Apparently talks between the Cards and incumbent FB Dan Kreider broke off and are no longer negotiating, prompting the Ali signing.
Ali joins former Browns, QB Derek Anderson and Director of Player Personnel T.J. McCreight, in the Cardinals family.
Not real huge news...

After an unreal evening in the Burgh on Saturday, the Steelers layed this enormous turd in the middle of Heinz field.
0-4 in the redzone = puke on our jeans. There is not a single stat in this game that we could hang our hat on. Yeah, the stat sheet looks even, and neither team scored an offensive touchdown, but none of that matters, the Bengals escaped with a win...

Former Steelers FB Dan Krieder Inks with the Cards
