If there's ever going to be a time when the Seahawks' tight end group can compare favorably to other NFL tight end squads, this might be the time.
As weak as this position group might be, at least Seattle's tight ends are not under suspicion for, let's say, involvement in a murder, shooting someone in the face and other possible gang-related activities...

Brother of Daniel, Darren Fells, has been re-signed by the Seahawks after getting released 12 days ago. He’s got great size at 6-7 and 280 lbs, and his basketball background is intriguing. After what Antonio Gates and Jimmy Graham have done, the former basketball player tag will not be going away anytime soon.

The Seattle Seahawks have waived tight end Darren Fells, brother of Daniel Fells. Darren is a 6’7″ converted basketball player who has the size to be a difference maker but maybe not the tools. He was with Seattle for two months and will be lucky to make a practice squad in 2013.
You know, with all of the issues Gronk is having in New England… it could happen.
The Seattle Seahawks have released tight end Darren Fells.
He played basketball at UC Irvine, and impressed the Seahawks enough to sign him last month.
Seattle clearly felt like it wasn’t worth it for them to keep Fells at this point.
