Gators limp into bye week seeking health, solutions

GAINESVILLE, Fla. --If he coached in the NFL, this is the sort of week Gators coach Will Muschamp would scan the waiver wire for help. Maybe call up a recent retiree and see if he had anything left. Talk to the general manager about a potential trade. This isn't the NFL. So on Sunday morning, the day after the Gators lost back-to-back games for the first time since 2011, Muschamp...

Florida linebacker stands alone following Sugar Bowl loss

Many college football teams have a tradition to stand on the field together as the marching band plays the school’s alma mater. I would venture to wager the majority of those teams do so win or lose. On Wednesday night in New Orleans, just one player remained on the field to hear the alma mater for Florida after the Gators were roughed up by Big East champion Louisville to the...

The Paladins scored 22 points in the opening period and did so with a new look and some ‘trickeration’. Linebacker Darrin Kitchens did his best to help the defense out. The sophomore from Miami led all Gators in tackles with 12 in his first career start as a Gator.
